Reservations

The West Dallas Multipurpose Center (WDMC) meeting rooms and facilities are available to non-profit organizations that serve the West Dallas community. An organization utilizing the West Dallas Multipurpose Center (WDMC) facility must be a private, non-profit (501c3), public, educational or voluntary community organization. Approved activities must include the following: health and human service programs; planning and development; education and training and cultural activities. Reservations for meeting rooms and facilities are accommodated on a first come, first serve basis.

Please Note:  West Dallas Multipurpose Center hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  The WDMC is closed on Sundays and City of Dallas holidays.

Reservations 

The Space Use Agreement Form must be completed and submitted to be considered for a reservation.  Reservation confirmations will be made by phone or email within 48 hours of the submission of a reservation request.  All reservations made outside of the normal operating hours of the WDMC will be required to pay for City of Dallas Security to open and close the building.  This hourly rate for the WDMC security is $50.00 with a minimum of two (2) hours required. This fee is payable by check in advance of the reservation.

Rooms and facilities available for the community and nonprofits serving the West Dallas Community include the following:

North Wing Conversation Room: Located in the North Wing, this room is designed to be a comfortable space.  With a loveseat and 2 chairs, this room is appropriate for conversations between 2-4 people.  

South Wing Conference Room: Located in the South Wing, this room has a conference table that will accommodate 10-12 people around the table. This room requires special access.

South Wing Training Room: Located in the South Wing, this room can be configured in a variety of ways depending on the format of the meeting/training session. Depending on the configuration of the room and the session expectations, the room can accommodate 20-25 people. This room requires special access.

Conference Room East:  Located in the East Wing, this room has a conference table that will accommodate 4-5 people around the table.  This conference room is available during normal operating hours. 

Conference Room West:  Located in the West Wing, this room has a conference table that will accommodate 10-12 people around the table.  This conference room is available during normal operating hours. 

West Wing Activity Room 1 and Activity Room 2:  These are adjoined rooms that can be separated or remain connected as one large area. Activity Room 1 maximum occupancy is 40 people. Activity Room 2 maximum occupancy is 60 people. The Activity Rooms are available on weekdays (M-F) after 1pm and all day on weekends.  

The Atrium: The main lobby of the facility, this space can be set up in a variety of configurations based on the session or presentation.  The space will accommodate about 150 people depending on the configuration.  

Teaching Kitchen: Located in the West Wing, the maximum occupancy is 25 people.

Technology Center: Located in the West Wing, the maximum occupancy is 50 people.

Tables, chairs, and podium available:   The West Dallas Multipurpose Center has both circular and rectangular tables and chairs to be used to configure meeting and training spaces based on the needs of the presenter.  The WDMC also has a podium and microphones available for use.  Please advise of room set up specifications on the Meeting Reservation Form when submitted.
